Geeks, it's the World's Cup!

It's the WOOOOOOOOOOOORLD CUP my beautiful geeks and what a week it's been!

It was last week that we got to seee what the fiasco and hulla balloo of the goal line technology. France and Honduras were playing against each other in the match in Brazil on Sunday when Karim Benzema, a French player (#10) scored a goal.

Here's the catch though: the ball hit the goal post at first and it was declared no goal, thanks to the to goal line technology.

However, seconds later the ball passed the goal line and the Honduras goal keeper and it went passed the line as seen in the photo below. The referee was sent a 'signal' to indicate that it was a goal and France got a goal!

That was the first time in the entire history of World Cup that technology was seen properly.
